We Cannot Train our Babies to Not Need Us.

We cannot train our babies not to need us. Whether it's in the middle of the day or in the middle of the night, their needs are real and valid, including the simple need for human touch. A "trained" baby may give up on his needs being met, but the need is still there, just not the trust. - L.R. Knost

Our babies were inside us for almost 10 months while we were pregnant with them, they are used to hearing the sound of our voice and hearbeat, amongst other things, 24/7. It doesn't shock us at all that they would then desire to be with, on, or near you at all times in the beginning.
