What is Included in Your Care?
Prenatal care, labor, birth, 3 sets of routine lab work, and 6 weeks postpartum care for you and your baby are included in the fee. A 2 hour birth preparation class will help you feel equipped! You have access to someone 24 hours via a message portal for non emergent issues, and cell numbers for labor and emergencies.
Education materials are given oral and written on a variety of topics relating to pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding. Sonograms can be scheduled through our center and are performed on site but are NOT included in the fee. Moody Diagnostics provides sonograms every other Wednesday at our birth center.
The appointment schedule:
Every 4 weeks until 36 weeks
38 weeks
Weekly until birth
Home birth clients receive an in home visit for the 36 week birth planning session
Labwork is routinely offered at initial visit, 28 weeks, and 36 weeks.
Our practice does ask for a 20 week ultrasound to be performed to look at baby’s anatomy and sonograms are not included in our fee.
Home Birth
We offer home birth in a 90 mile radius including Terrell, Wills Point, Edgewood, Commerce, Greenville, Mabank, Gun Barrel, Lone Oak, Grand Saline, Quinlan, Lake Tawakoni, Heartland, Sunnyvale, Heath, Royse City, Fate, Campbell, Mineola, Sachse, Garland, Rowlett, Kaufman, Rockwall, Forney, Crandall, Kemp, Canton, Ben Wheeler, Van, Emory, Lindale and surrounding areas. Water Birth
The use of a birth tub or pool during labor can greatly reduce your discomfort, help you move and change positions easier, and greatly enhance your ability to birth without an epidural. You have the option of water birth at home or the Birth Center.
Babies born in the water often are born calm and at peace, hardly noticing they have changed from the environment of the womb!
Clients can choose to enjoy a healing herbal bath after their birth. Healing herbs are soothing and can aid in healing after birth.

$500 Retainer/Facility Fee that secures availability of our team for your due month but does not apply to clinical management or professional midwifery services rendered
