Midwives aren't labeled "Teachers", but a huge part of what they do is teach...

It could be teaching the client what their lab numbers mean, how she can improve them.

It could be helping the woman understand what is going on in her body and with her baby.

It could be helping the husband understand what his wife is going through, or what she might need during labor.

It could be encouraging the client to trust in her body to do what it was created to do... in their line of work, it could be so many different things.

A lot of Midwives are Teaching Midwives too, where they have students under them.

So today on Teachers day, it might be a bit different- but I want to shout out all Midwives for the teaching they do every single day!!
