Sometimes, we catch babies too. "Midwife" means "With Woman" and at Blessed Joy Midwifery we take that very seriously! Most of what our job is ministering to the mother, before during and after the baby has been born. If we catch the baby, it's but a brief moment in time before we are handing the baby to the mother for the precious Golden Hour she much deserves after nine months of hard work and however long her labor was.
